have a 2003 Ford Crown Vic Police. I already know that without the resistor the turn signals will flash with bulb out indicator. My issue is the front turn signal bulbs. Why do I need resistors for each LED light when making this sign?

I just feel as though my attorney is being too passive. Fellow Christians, would God be mad or upset with me...?

I am 17 and a Christian. I am forgiving and nice and never start problems with others, and many people don't start problems with me either. But, my sister is always being obnoxious, nosy, and starts things with me. It is not as much as it used to be, but still happens. Today it was thundering and raining outside, i had to use the bathroom but my dog was hiding in the bathroom because he gets scared of thunder sounds. The bathroom is a reasonable size, but not that big, and he would have been in my way, so i called my dog to get out of the bathroom and he doesn't listen; i try to lure him out of the bathroom with a dog snack and he doesn't listen; so i just had to push him out of the bathroom and then he was finally out of the bathroom and he went to another part of the house. I didn't push him out in a mean way, just kind of like moved him out the door like one would push a table. But my sister seemed to give me attitude just because i moved him out of the bathroom. I tried to say things with reason, but she just closed her door in my face. I try to be a good brother, but she is just an obnoxious person and i love her, but i don't want to deal with her anymore. She is obviously has a problem with me and how i am, (she also brings up long forgotten things of the past to justify her actions towards me when i never did anything and those things were ancient history, which most of those events were just me standing up for myself because she was mean first.) so i don't want to be around her much. When i get old enough, i want to move out on my own and not have to deal with her. I still love her, and might say hi to her on facebook sometimes or even visit. (That form of contact is not long enough for her to start being a jerk again.) I would not be holding a grudge, there is just some people who are impossible to get along with even when you are nice to them. Are Led's Suppose To Distort A Sub-woofer?

I tried hooking up some unused Christmas Leds to my 10 inch 200/400 Watt, 4 Ohm Sub-woofer, which was hooked to a Logitech x530 Amp, so I could get Bass reactive lighting. But, the problem is that, when I hook the Leds to the Sub, the Sub would start cutting out, when the Bass is increased. But, I need to increase the Bass, for the Leds to flash bright enough. Anyway, It sounds kind of like Clipping? But I read about Clipping, and it should only happen when the Amp that powers the Sub, can't put out enough power for it, right?... Correct me, if I'm wrong. Anyway, only when the Leds are connected, the Sub would distort, cause I also have two 200 Watt Tweeters hooked up, and I tried removing them, when the speaker distorts, from the Leds, so I could really see if it was to much power trying to be delivered, but it still distorted. This may sound stupid but, could it be something to do with the Leds not having resistors attached to them? And if it is, how would that have fixed the Sub distortion problem? Leds don't used much current at all, anyway, so I'm really confused here. Please help me out.

Here in east Texas cilantro,chives,onions,and dill start to die off in the late spring/early summer.The "tarragon" you referred to is more likely an herb called Mexican mint marigold. It doesn't do well in the summer either. But don't discard it or the chives ,when the weather cools down they'll start growing again (perennials). I suggest you get another parsley. They grow for 2 years - a real thing of beauty. It is my favorite herb to grow!

I just bought an Abelia. I planted it along a fence line. I would like it to grow as large as possible to add some privacy between me & the neighbor. Computer fails to boot?

Hey all, so heres what happened. I overclocked my video card, an old GTS 250. While afterburner was open, my little bro messed with the settings and set my memory clock to the 1300 max and applied it. Panicked after the system froze and artifacted, he forced a shutdown and now it fails to display an image. I bought a GTS 450 from newegg, swapped it in and it still fails to boot or display anything, dosnt even POST. All LEDs and fans work, HDD spins up, the HDD activity light on my Antec 300 blinks rapidly as it would when loading windows. Ram is known good, their are 4 LEDs on my MSI mobo that display power phases or something, and they are lit, so not a mobo problem? PSU is a trusty antec 650 watt, dont think its PSU cause it only stopped working after the vid card problem. Help?

To do this in parallel you connect each plus of each LED to the plus of the battery and each minus of each LED to the regulator. In order to make this circuit much better you need to add a small current limiting resistor in series with each LED. I can't tell you the value of the resistor without knowing the specs of the LED's.

A few saltwater aquarium questions?

I started my first saltwater aquarium two days ago. My tank sat for about three weeks before I added two true percula clown fish and a rose bubble tip anenome. All of my chemicals are fine and I have a 45 gallon tank with full spectrum whit and blue 60mW LEDs. The anenome sat on top of the rock for the first day but now is hiding in the little cave my live rocks make. My clown fish go in there and "play" in the anenome but why won't it come out? very good, but after one read its seems more descriptive of her environment than of her character and when you have to start talking abt her character with "julia was an intuitive girl...." it seems very blunt and in complete contrast to the description of her environment which flows like water. you are very good at description of the surroundings, use that to bring out the character. the character development seems very blocky, merge it with the rest of the text. when u describe the grass or the bushes bring out her thoughts abt how she believes there are secrets hidden behind them, in them/it and how when the wind blew she wanted to follow it to see where it went to see perchance where it began,< this is just a crude example to describe her curious character, her determination, start it off smoothly, ease into the character. ( i hope this helps somehow, i would want to read further)

With the Moso and other tall timber bamboo, the height of your ceiling won't limit their growth. They will keep going, even curling and coiling as they hit the ceiling. I would be looking for one of the Multiplexes. Perhaps Fernleaf, Alphonse Karr, Golden Goddess or Silver Stripe. You can go to one of the trade magazines (online) that we use to source some of the growers of various plants at www.plantfindervts.com and search for Bambusa in the green goods search. It will pull up a list of various bamboo and some growers. Some phone calls to them may get your answer. At my nursery it is just the Fernleaf and Hedge Bamboo in production. Dig up a little of the field grown stock bamboo and stick it in a container. With some water, fertilizer and weed control, a full 6-8' bamboo is produced in a 15 gallon container in as little as 18 months. Canes are smaller, typically less than an inch, but it is a good bamboo. The other species mentioned above get bigger canes over an inch. Oldhamii is the giant bamboo we used to grow (canes 4-6" and fast) but it was to fast and quickly became difficult to care for if there were not buyers. If you can find someone that has bamboo, of any kind, see if they will let cut/dig some of it out and start your own.

How to make LED's flash to music at low volumes?

I currently using a tip31 transistor to make LED's pulse to music. However, currently they only start to flash when the music is turned up past the half-way mark on my iphone. The LED's are a pre-wired strip of 48 LEDs that requires 12v to operate, therefore the transistor uses the music to turn on and off the 12v supply. A USB port should be able to source 500mA which is more than enough to power 8 LEDs. Have you definitely got the + from pin 1 and the ground from pin 4? If you have the + connected to pin 2, the TX data line, then it might supply enough current for one LED but no more and exhibit the symptoms you are seeing when you try to add more LEDs.

Most Cory cats get too big for a ten gallon. Dwarf cory cats need 20 gallons or more, regular cory cats need 30 gallons or more. You could get a school of 6 pygmy cory cats but they are not really a bigginer fish. Most cories do better in soft water with a ph of 7.0 or lower. The only other fish that could go with them in a ten gallon is a betta.

How to wire the LEDs?

I would buy different intensity LEDs for different brightnesses they sell them everywhere. Use a 220 ohm resistor in series with the each LED. That is what most call for. Usually the each have a .7 to 1 volt drop for each LED. So figure 15 volts or use two 9 volt batteries in series and you should be good. When buying the LEDs they will have a recommended simple circuit for their product if you search for it. They also make incandescent christmas lights you can put a dimmer on and just plug in.

I have a fairly large tomato plant and 4 other smaller ones. The large one has had flowers for about 3 weeks, but they never grew tomatoes. Some are now getting to the point where the whole flower and green leaves at their base are just falling off leaving nothing but a nub where the flower once was. replace the headlamp? no can do. an automotive headlamp has to meet specific SAE requirements to be street legal. an important requirement is the beam shape, so that it does not blind on-coming traffic. the beam also has to generate a certain FC of illumination at a distance, i don't remember the spec but 11 LEDs at 0.06 watts each won't replace the 55 watt sealed beam lamps for brightness. the input for your car is not 12 volts. The battery voltage is 15.5 volts when charging and 13.5 volts with the engine off. if you design for 15.5 volts to keep the LEDs from burning out, then they won't light at 13.5 volts.

Talismoon Whisper Fan LOUD?

Ok so every sunday me my 2 brothers and my dad go to a dock on Courthouse Lake in Minnesota to go fishing and have a bet for 100 bucks to see who can catch 20 sunfish first. Best way to deal with funky betta water?

My friend was looking after (or supposed to be) my betta while I was away for 3 months. I got back yesterday and my betta does not look so good, laying on the sand. My friend confesses he never changed the water! What is the best way to go about this? Do I put the fish in a smaller tank and completely clean his tank and refill with all fresh water? I just started my first saltwater aquarium. After letting the tamk sit for about three weeks with live rocks and monitering the levels. Okay I'm majoring in veterinarian. I love animals and I really want to help them. I'm sure that I want to be a veterinarian. I go to a community college that rips me off. They made me take classes that I don't need for my major such as P.E, SDV, and Bio-Medical Ethics. Well maybe Ethics is kind of important but anyways some teachers and advisers are surprise that I want to be a vet because I don't like math and science very much. They think I'm stupid and can't do it. Math is not really my biggest problem but science is. My BIO 102 professor is surprise that I want to be a vet because I suck at Biology. The thing is that I don't do well because they are making me learn more about humans than animals. So why would that be a surprise? I'm going to treat domestic animals, not plant, not reptiles, and not humans. I know that a lot of the human body functions almost the same as animals but not in all animals. They have their differences. I don't want to know about the differences. I want to learn about the animal anatomy, about how to do treatments, and medical studies ONLY related to animals. So tell me something that I don't know. Why do I need to do biology if they are only teaching me about human, insects, and other weird species? Its a waste of time and money in my opinion. I'm transferring to Virginia Tech and hopefully they'll teach me something interesting and useful.

Yes to your first question. The 4 x 54 watt t5 ho lights should be plenty for lps, softies, colonial polys, mushrooms, and even some of the lower light sps corals. (Monti caps, digitata, seriatopora/birdsnest and even some acroporids as some are not as demanding light wise). Of course keeping the tank parameters in optimal ranges will greatly factor in with the lighting as far as coral health goes. That 24 inch depth also give you a good light gradient from top to bottom, just remember that even high light corals can suffer light stress if conditions from one tank to the next vary as far as intensity of light goes. As far as the upgrade goes, halides certainly get the job done but they are like anything in this hobby, pros and cons. I would take a look at some of the work Sanjay Joshi did in comparing all the different medal halide ballasts/bulb configurations. The information is insane, from par values to color spectrum analysis, the best thing is you can configure any brand ballast/bulb/wattage and see what kind of output you can expect. Just search his name and medal halides. That said, halides are not the end all of reef tanks, I have seen some amazing setups utilizing T5s and LEDs that rivial many halide tanks. I would imagine the burn your house down stuff is in reference to the heat of MHs. You have to consider the cost to buy, energy used, heat produced, bulb efficiency too. Just be aware of the newer options when you plan the next tank and make an informed choice. I have had great luck with both T5s and MHs in my tanks, the LEDs are out of my price range now but in the future... happy reefing

There are opportunities where your sims have to go to certain places like a bookstore but the building is the one in Sunset Valley and is replaced by a different building in Bridgeport. I've tried putting the same buildings in Bridgeport but it never recognized them for the opportunity. Is there a way to fix it or does the patch fix it? Is this poison ivy or poison oak?!!?

Ok so I took my dog on a walk the other day and we went behind an old abondoned building and there were some weird plants back there. I didn't see any poisonous plants but then again I wasn't wearing my glasses (oops)... So I went home and a few hour later I was watching tv and my ankle started itching like crazy so I was scratching it and not really paying attention. The next day my ankle was still itchy as heck so I looked at it closer and found five or six red bumps that looked kinda like mosquito bites but were a little redder. I put calamine lotion on it and it felt a little better but not completely. It's still killing me right now and I don't know the difference between a poison ivy rash or a poison oak rash!! I've never had either and google wasn't clarifying anything! Which is it because if it's one of them I can put this stuff on it to make it stop itching but if it's the other and I put it on the rash it could have bad side effects.. Should i use a higher xbox 360 power supply?

i modded my jasper 150w xbox 360. I added more fans,leds,etc. now i notice the back fans are not blowing as much air as they did before. Computer turns on BUT there is NO display - please help!?

I would say that it might be a bad video card. I would check if you have a video card that may be overheating. What I would first do is try to replace the video card. That is my only recommendation. Try to turn off your computer and let it sit for a few hours and then turn it on and see if it is continuing to not turn on. If it does not turn then the video card is broken but if the display comes on and then shuts off then you have a cooling problem.

How do I find out if my builder an developer committed fraud?

I am a disabled Veteran with a service dog. I bought my home in a specific community because they advertised an amenity for dogs to run and play (legal reasons I have to phrase it that way). After the first year in this new development I began to ask how long it would be to have this amenity built. I got a location from a member of the development team. I checked the site plan, there was no mention of this amenity of the site plan. I was furious. I was now almost 3 yrs behind in applying for my successor service dog because you have to have a place for the dog to exercise - this is a requirement for most reputable organizations that train service dogs. The county repeatedly told me they had never seen a plan including a dog park in my community. So I thought this was clearly fraud. 2 weeks before court, the county changes its story and says that there is an amenity but it's in a different location than what I was told. The location was next to the soccer field. Interestly enough the site plan clearly shows the soccer field but does not show the amenity for dogs. I then spoke with the utilities company that controlled the transmission lines. The rep told me that he had worked on this community from the beginning and had never heard of this amenity. He said that the developer would've had to get permission to build anything through the tranamission lines. My attorney said we couldn't move forward and that I should settle. This was a couple years ago. I got word 2 days ago that the amenity had been built. I went to check it out. It is a fence around air on top of grass. There are no trees to shade the dogs, there are no benches for owners to sit at, there are no water bowls. There is simply a fence. I asked if they were going to install trees and was told they can't because of the overhead power lines. I think they lied, I think some county rep helped them lie. There's no way they would've planned to build this amenity where dogs can exercise without trees for shade and without the ability to ever have trees planted. I believe they scrambled and did this because if it wasn't on the site plan it would've clearly been deem fraud, so I think they did some underhanded revamping of the site plan and just stuck the fence up and said 'there you go.' How can I find out if there was actually deception here?

Eventually we would most likely die out. Other plants are very important to the food chain. If the producers of the food chain (plants) were to become extinct, those organisms higher on the food chain that rely on plants other than grass would become extinct. Eventually, humans, being the top of the food chain, would not have any organisms to consume for energy (other than grass). Therefore, we would die out. One might argue that humans could simply only consume grass; however, grass doesn't not provide enough nutrients for the human body.

BETTA FISH HELP PLEASE!!!!!?

Use light switchfor LEDs in homebuilt subwoofer?

I'm building a subwoofer, and I'm putting in LEDs and cold cathode tubes that will blink with the subwoofer. I know that I can't use a light switch dimmer that runs from the amp to the driver (sort of as a makeshift gain control) because that can start a fire because they arent built to handle that. Help identify my plant?

My plant is one that i got from my sisters school, the science labs were having a clear out and i ended up with a tropical plant, it has a stem of about a centimeter thick and arrow shaped jagged leaves, on each of the serrated edges of the leaves it grows a seedling, probably about 50 seedlings on a bigger leaf. If you knock the plant slightly these seedlings fall off and as they already have two leaves and a few roots they start to grow bigger within days. Kind of an odd plant but I've had it for a long time and I want to know what it is. Help?

And how long do you want them to last? That's what usually determines what battery to use.
