Flashing leds htc desire?

The leds on my htc desire are flashing between red and green ever since I dropped my phone in water it hasnt been turning on and these leds have been flashing :( Is there any way of backing up my phone for the pictures ect? Ive tried plugging it into my computer but no response still flashing lights PLEASE HELP ME :(
