How do i make the cardboard hat from LMFAO party rock anthem?

i wanted to make the cardboard box hat from LMFAO the guy who looks pro at shuffling and the hat looked pretty cool. so i got some cloth, metal fencing, LEDs, battery box, gold paint, and some plastic thingies for the side of the head.
