I use lures for them. For bass soft plastics work pretty well for me and they are cheap and disposable. For trout you can either fly fish or use smaller lures like spoons or phoebes or rooster tails.

Painting based on myth of woman in chains luring men with music and eating them?

So, I'm trying to find out the name and artist of a painting that I've seen. It's set in a wooded area by a small pond or water, there is a woman who is playing a harp or other stringed instrument. She looks sad. In the water there are bones because as the story goes, she is forced to lure men to her with her song in order to feed on them. I think she has a chain around her ankle as well. Any help would be appriciated!

There are still - at the moment anyway - more males than females in the world, due to countries where females are less valued. I don't expect what you say to have -that- much of an affect on gender levels, even in extreme cases it could only level the gender/population out.
